I hope this notice finds you all well.
I am writing to invite you to the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the British Ju Jitsu Association GB (BJJAGB), which will take place on Sunday, 18th October 2026, at 10:30 am.
Venue: Caldersfield Golf and Country Club, Aldridge Road, Walsall, West Midlands, WS24 2JS.
To make the meeting as accessible as possible, members will also have the opportunity to attend via Zoom. If you wish to participate online, please email bjjagb@icloud.com, providing your full name, address, club or association, and BJJAGB membership number. A personal invitation and Zoom link will then be sent to you.
The AGM provides an important opportunity for all Member Clubs and Associations, together with individual Ju Jitsu students, to come together to discuss matters relating to the BJJAGB.
This year’s meeting will provide an overview of our activities and achievements over the past twelve months, as well as an opportunity to discuss our plans and priorities for the year ahead. We would therefore ask all clubs and associations to circulate this invitation to their members and students.
We greatly value your continued support and contribution to the BJJAGB and sincerely hope you will be able to join us, either in person at Caldersfield Golf and Country Club or via Zoom.
Questions for the Board
All members are invited to submit any questions they may have for the Board in advance of the AGM. To ensure that the meeting runs smoothly and that sufficient time is available to address the questions raised, the deadline for submissions is Sunday, 11th October 2026.

Members wishing to attend via Zoom may also request their personal invitation and link by email. The Zoom link will be made available to members upon request from 16th October 2026.
Sharing Good Practice
The AGM is also an opportunity to share ideas, experiences and examples of good practice across our Association. If you have any initiatives, projects or areas of good practice that you would be willing to share at a future meeting, we would be delighted to hear from you.
Looking Ahead
As you know, over the past few years, our Board has worked tirelessly to develop and strengthen the Association and promote the growth of Ju Jitsu, whilst fulfilling our responsibilities as Sport England’s recognised National Governing Body for Ju Jitsu.
The Board has made significant progress, and the addition of new members last year, bringing with them a range of specialist skills and experience, has further strengthened our leadership and governance.
With this combination of experience, dedication and fresh ideas, the Board remains committed to building on these achievements, supporting our Member Clubs and Associations, and continuing to develop the sport of Ju Jitsu for the benefit of all our members.
We look forward to welcoming you to the AGM and hearing your views as we work together towards another successful year for the BJJAGB.
