Invitation to the Annual General Meeting

Dear Member
I hope this message finds you well.

I am writing to invite you to the upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the British Ju Jitsu Association GB, scheduled for 19th October 2025 10.30 am at Mind Body Spirit HQ Raincliffe House, Barker Lane, Brampton, Chesterfield, Derbyshire, S40 1DU. To increase accessibility, you can also attend via Zoom, please email bjjagb@icloud.com
with your full Name, Address, Club/Association and your BJJAGB Membership number and a personal invite will be sent to you.

The AGM is an opportunity for all Member Clubs & Associations, along with individual students of Ju- Jitsu to meet and discuss all aspects of the BJJAGB. It is an important meeting and this year’s AGM will provide you with the opportunity to gain a further insight of our activities over the past year and our plans for the next twelve months, we therefore ask that you also circulate it to all your students upon receipt.  We very much value your contribution to the activities of the BJJAGB and hope that you can join us either at Mind Body Spirit Martial Arts HQ or via the Zoom link.

All are invited to submit any questions they may have for the Board, but we will only be able to accept questions until Sunday 5th of October so that we can make the meeting manageable. Questions can be submitted online using Google Forms. To submit a Google Forms AGM Question or share good practice, click here https://forms.gle/gXpexh2M38S4pC8W6

The meeting is also an opportunity for sharing good practice. If you have any areas of good practice that you would be willing to share at a future meeting, please use the Google Form link above.

As you know, over the past few years, our current board has worked tirelessly to advance our association and grow the sport of Ju Jitsu in close collaboration with Sport England, who continue to recognise us as The National Governing Body for Ju Jitsu.

The achievements of the board have been significant, and the addition of new members last year, with their specialised skills, has strengthened our leadership even further. The existing board has the experience and dedication to see through this period of progress and ensure that we meet all objectives in line with Sport England’s expectations.
